My friend, this is not in any way a dumb question. Quite the contrary, there are those who also wish to know an answer to this. If you want to do it easily with a drink, a simple answer would be an energy drink, which would wake you up. Getting out of the bed, you can lay there, and tell yourself as soon as you finish counting to 5, you will get up. Start counting, and every time you count a number, move a part of your body. No need to rush, take your time, but not too long so that you slip back to anchoring yourself again. As soon as you count 5, launch yourself out of bed onto your feet or sit up quickly. If you really don't mind, you can roll of the bed.
I've done this for myself, but I have no idea if it's good for others. I wish I could come up with more and better idea, but I can't think at the moment, annoyingly. I hope more people respond and give you good suggestions for you and others who are interested. Until next time, my friend. Hope your day/night goes well :D

Not a dumb question. If that can help just know that not wanting to get out of bed in the morning is a common effect with anxiety, or/and depression. I can't speak for everyone, but I have also struggled with it...
With anxiety for me, it was when I would get out of bed, I would have to face my anxiety, and kind of face the world and my responsibilities, so it was harsh. Nowadays, I guess, the morning are better. I take it super easy. A dumb thing but I wake up very very early, never turn on any light, drink coffee in the dark while listening to the outside noise. It's an in between, between fully waking up and staying under the cover.

You should try different things unless something works for you. Also, my best advice would be let time pass, but I know it's complicated.

Have a goal. A goal you really want to accomplish. I am not talking about superficial things like promotions etc..
No, have a goal that gets you out of bed. Mine was to complete my work contract in order to get extra money. What is yours?

That feeling in the morning is shit I have been having it in the past couple of months and can relate. My advice is to go to a doctor or psychologist and start treating your depression and anxiety. It's fucking hard but those feelings can pass with the right meds and by changing your way of thinking/lifestyle. I hope you get better soon.

Modafinil is very very good. You can get it online in UK and Europe. I don't know about USA. It gets me out of bed (and I am bedridden without it). Here is a link on its use in depression, and you can find other research about it online: https://www.cam.ac.uk/research/news...mprovements-in-memory-from-the-drug-modafinil

I take between 50 and 100mg to force myself out of bed to work. Nothing else does the job for me.
(along with Modafinil, I have 5 mg of Selegiline and then some DLPA). That combo all gets me to work. But Modafinil by itself is good stuff.

Sometimes, all you need is to be on your own two feet before you can go forward. Best of luck :D

I definitely understand this. I am more often than not, late or even absent to work because I am not able to get up in the morning. What helps is having something next to you in the morning that forces you to get up; necessary medication, water, etc.

I see what you mean my parents and the general public where I live thinks takign meds for mental health issues is embarassing but I say to them "fuck you" and just went to the doctor (although my parents do support me now that they see I need some medical help). You can go to the doctor and he will prescribe you what he thinks is neccessary in your case, it may be just some small dosage of a light Antidepressant. I say go for it, it helped me.

B12 it's a natural supplement. It has no side effects, no crash. I use it alot and it doesn't affect any of my other medicines.
