  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I really think this philosophy has a lot of wisdom and some compassion in it too. He's not saying be lazy. He's saying there's no point to working hard if you know you won't get the results you desire. It's legit advice. Parents lie to their children and say reach for the stars anything is possible but very few people can be successful in all 3 areas of life financial, health and emotional. He dispels the myth that hard work equals wealth. Most people work hard yet cannot afford things they need. Also he kind of implies a beautiful philosophy--- that it's okay to be who you are. You don't have to conform to societies expectations.

I agree with what you said. I titled it "demotivational" because I thought it would be considered like that by the average person but yeah he gave a good advice.

Reminds me of a Dickens quote. Live within your capacity.

"Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen and six , result happiness.

Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery."

This guy may be just a little too cynical even for me :pfff: . But I think his philosophy is better than the blind stupid optimism that I see too often.

This. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Many (non-suicidal) people seem to conveniently forget this principle when talking to/about suicidal people. If I have good reason to believe that I will never have what I need to be happy and fulfilled in my life, why the fuck should I keep fighting?

It's not super far off from what I do anyway 😅

It is pretty hilarious just how often he repeats that phrase throughout the video

I suffer from depression, and I do believe I worked twice as hard as he is trying his video spectators to do and it was all for nothing! Some are just unlucky and it doesn't matter how hard you try, or how much time you put into it, it'll just turn to dust in days. For some me included this world is a hell loop, with no out. It's punishment for something I don't know I did. You need the outside environment and conditions to be in your favour, me it's like swimming against the current. And I tried for 34 years, I've been positive, I've seen psychiatrists, psychologists, I put my self in good environments, in good jobs but it didn't matter because nothing was in concert with me and life kicked me out regardless. And now I'm lost and confused, and I can't even fucking take my own life.

i agree with him, except that i don't believe in god. if you're a failure in life and you cannot satisfy your needs, it's not your fault. it's a lottery, luck, random. this world is incredibly cruel and unfair
