What are important things to do before ctb? Not bucketlist items, just things to make my death organized. I've started working on writing my will and letters to family. I've also added beneficiaries on to most of my bank accounts, at least to the ones that I can add them to online without going in and raising suspicion. Is there anything else I should be doing to make my death easier for those around me who have to deal with the aftermath?

- Leave a lastwill about estate distribution, and make sure it would be found after crb. This might prevert family from court fights against each other.
- Delete all your email account. And all data from all device. Better to sell or destory them. Some phone could still recover your data even after returning to factory settings.
- For the ones you really really care, write a sequence of scheduled emails for them. So even after your ctb, they could still hear you for a period of time. It would make them easier to accept tthe fact that you are permanently gone.

I agree with most. But question the real purpose to the emails. It's more like allowing a wound to scab then ripping off the scab

Just get your affairs in order. Lay out your last wishes in detail. Make sure the will is drafted meeting all legal requirements. If there's someone that you DON'T want to get any of your money or stuff, explicitely have that put in your will. There's nothing wrong with writing notes or emails, in my opinion, to family members and friends, as long as they aren't being delayed-sent like a year after you die or something like that. I would definitely destroy devices and hard drives instead of just deleting material. Make sure any passwords you have jotted down for sites that you'd rather not have anyone know about are destroyed and can't be found. I don't know why there would be suspicion to adding beneficiaries to back accounts. All accounts should have beneficiaries on them, as long as you have beneficiaries to put on them. Banks know this and expect it. If you're using something to ctb that is traceable, say like N from certain bottles, maybe transfer the N into another vessel and dispose of the original bottles way beforehand the time you actually ctb.

I have to start working on this too. Have to get everything set for my husband and write my goodbye letter to him. Thankfully he gets the house automatically after I die. I have to book a hotel room also so.

Just curious, why wipe my phone/email? I don't really have anything I'm looking to

I mostly worry about adding beneficiaries because I'm 21 and I don't want them to wonder why a 21 year old is

Maybe I'm paranoid lol I just worry that a bank may question why a seemingly healthy 21 year old is adding beneficiaries to her accounts. But thank you, I'll do these things.

Do you think the bank cares if you add beneficiaries to your accounts? You are just a number to them, anyway. All they care about is how to use your money in order to make them money.

I'm in the process of doing this.

In addition to what you've mentioned, I've canceled my car insurance. I also plan on recording a video of me speaking calmly and saying reassuring things in general to whoever needs it (I'm not making my reason public) because I know what it's like to suffer a loss and wish you had a recording of their voice or motion. I'm planning on changing my voicemail for the same reason. Editing my Steam and Whatsapp captions to clarify I won't be online again, since I have friends I only talk with on there.

I'm sure there's some other stuff but eh.

Man I'm gonna be busy af in the last twenty minutes since I have a very short time frame to send messages/do all that without being interrupted. I'm doing it around midnight in a city far away so that should buy me enough time.
