Death abroad costs

If I were to go from the UK to say Poland or Portugal to obtain SN and ctb, does anyone know the costs involved in getting a body back to the UK for a funeral ?
Is it loads of money ?
I don't want to burden family with this.
I assume travel insurance won't cover ?

It's incredibly expensive. I think it may differ a lot depending on many factors. Getting the body back to Poland from the UK costs at least 1000 GBP. From Poland to the UK probably less but still. And the funeral itself is expensive as hell. Also, you need lots of documents and in overall it's just really complicated. There are many companies that offer to help though because they are aware that it's usually very difficult and important for the family. However if it's the money that's the issue, I would say it's not a good idea catching the bus abroad :(
