• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I would assume at that temp, it would slowly decay as compared to extremely hot temps.

Being that I have done the other side of finding those who committed suicide/died from immediately to a few weeks later you will be decently on your way to sloshiness. The body may be filled with gas and skin sliding off on touch, if there are bugs present there will be quicker decay. Maggots eat flesh quickly.

Hopefully that isn't too graphic but you won't be a pretty picture no matter the clothes or makeup you put on or the air fresheners you set out.

Thank you. It was all part of the job. Death does not really phase me. I don't look at it as a bad thing so that helped. Also seeing the bodies helped me with some after death wanderings I had about my own CTB to come. Eased so stuff.

Yes, I have desensitized myself to dead corpses as well. I saw videos of people dying through liveleak, bestgore, and a few other places. A long time ago, I've even seen an suspect ctb via a firearm while in custody (apparently the detaining officer forgot to check the suspect's groin/waist area for a firearm) at a police station, on YouTube (nowadays you could still find similar videos but the ctb part has been censored). Also, I've seen the famous Budd Dwyer ctb.
