Doesn't there come some point where the body starts living off of or consuming itself in order to survive?

I think you would be better off, maybe more successful, just not eating, but still taking in some water on occasion.

correct
when your body has no more glucose left in storage, it will start to "live of itself." in order to stay alive.
when this is no longer an option, there goes your muscles to be destroyed in order to use the energy to keep your brain going.
afaik this will continue, destroying organs to keep enough energy for your brain until an eventual death.

water should make you survive longer but i dont have any science on me to back that up just my initial thought

Actually, I was thinking about it more from the angle of not having quite as much suffering due to dehydration.

Dying from starvation would take much longer than death from dehydration.

Some rudimentary Google searching can explain that.

If one wanted to CTB this way, I would assume they would want to have a constant flow of diarrhea without any water intake.

ahh lol ok that makes much more sense.
interesting point.

starvation can end with heart failure.
dehydration can end with a liver or kidney failure (among other things)

both not so pleasant, one may worse than the other.

also please research these things further i am not a 100 percent sure on this topic.

what do you mean, be more specific
If I VSED, except for the amount of water needed to swallow my meds daily (2 pills)...which doesn't make it completely VSED but you get what I mean...

I want to try VSED starting today (heat wave). So I drank water this AM, and I take meds for depression, so how would you take meds (ie: swallow pills) without consuming sips of water?
You wouldn't take medications at all. That would be horrible

Oh haha, I tried this method last month. Made a diary too. Gave in after 5th day.
Did you hallucinate or became delirious? If so what happened? What was this like?

Tons of people who go 14 days. You can look on youtube.
Could it be that some people just don't end up hallucinating? I did 4 days once and was fine, just felt reallyyy thirsty.
