Hi, I'm new here. This is going to be a long post, bear with me...

The concept of a threefold death dates back to the early days of Indo-European society, whereby an individual dies of three separate causes simultaneously(examples include hanging, drowning, and burning, etc). Rasputin's death would be a good semi-modern example of this. It was claimed that individuals who suffer a threefold death do so as a sort of fated punishment for transgressions against society.

Taking into consideration the life instinct, and the commonality of failed attempts to catch the bus, it seems that the principal of this threefold death could, when planned and executed properly, assure a higher mortality rate amongst attempts. It also seems that it would reduce the chance of rescue, even if found, as if the body is inundated with three different potential causes of death, it makes the individual all the more difficult to treat. For instance, if an individual were to poison themselves before they leap off a building, the paramedics would be so focused on the injuries from the fall that they might not even notice the poisoning symptoms, even if they do, treating both the poison and the impact related injuries would reduce the effectiveness of medical staff, in comparison to if they were just treating one or the other. Hence, for each added method, there seems to be an added security that the combined actions result in death.

Hence, it makes sense to willfully apply the concept of a threefold death(of one's one choosing) when catching the bus.

SN doesn't really appeal to me. A few years back, a Chef friend invited me his home for a duck ham dinner. He cured the ham himself. And while it was tasty, I became short of breath and overheated after consuming it, my heart seemed to beat too fast and/or irregularly. My friend was a Pastry Chef who worked at a high-end French restaurant, but hadn't worked the line in many years(his forte was desserts). I think he accidentally used a bit too much pink salt(sodium nitrate) in the curing process. It wasn't enough to send me to the hospital, or pose serious concern, but it was certainly uncomfortable and unpleasant. I couldn't imaging amplifying these effects by increasing the dose to a lethal measure.

Instead, when I was walking around my neighborhood recently, I noticed two properties growing datura. I had taken datura in the desert just over a decade ago(for entheogenic purposes, not CTB). I remembered that the dosage between hallucination and death was very minimal. I also remembered what little I remember of the experience. You see, Datura has been used to communicate with the dead in various cultures. Repeated use can drive a person to loose their sanity, and indigenous tribes that used it warn against over consumption, and disrespecting the spirit that presides over the plant. Still, it was used for a variety of purposes and considered a powerful medicine. With entheogen such as Datura, indigenous cultures believe that the spirit of the plant is alive and sentient. Why do I bring this up?

While under the influence of Datura, the emotional baseline was met with a cold detachment. It was in some ways comforting, because you were not burdened by your regular thoughts and emotions, but also could be somewhat disconcerting, as the emotions you had coddled for so long were no longer with you, so it could be perceived as a loss. However, for me, the steadiness of the detachment allowed such concepts of loss to be much less concerning.

When the plant took its peak effect in my system, I found myself talking to a man who wasn't there. I believe he was the Datura spirit. He was telling me arcane secrets. And I would respond to him, but then when I realized I was talking to someone who wasn't there, I got embarrassed, even though my companion was right next to me, doing the same thing. So my embarrassment interfered with my ability to focus and remember what the Datura spirit was saying. All I knew is that I wanted to hear it. The spirit did not feel malicious to me, but rather that it were imparting the truths of its own dimension to a finite mind.

The comedown was met with a decrease in the cognitive effects produced by the plant, a bit of lingering detachment, and severely blurred vision that rendered me unable to read for a week or two afterwards(this is a rather common experience with datura, and was by far the most concerning part for me, as I was not aware of this effect at that time, however, it did subside and my vision returned to normal within a fortnight). I did not notice any other residual effects.

It is well known that the amount of active constituents vary between plants. Traditionally, soil type, age of the plant, and time of year have been taken into consideration when creating a brew of the desired alkaloid levels.

Based on my previous experience with Datura I feel it is a perfectly acceptable candidate as a major component in a willful three-fold death. Here are a few reason as to why:

1. It is readily available when in season, as long as an individual can properly identify the plant.

2. It is low/cost free. As datura grows in the wild, as a weed, and is also occasionally grown as an ornamental, the only cost of procuring it is the footsteps or gas it takes to get to where it grows and the effort to assure proper identification.

3. This is the most important one, even if you fail to take a lethal dose(but take enough to catalyze an altered state), the sense of detachment imparted by the ingestion of Datura, seems like it will be easier to disregard the self-preservation instinct, and act with conviction to one's own end(in the case of a double or triple death).

4. If using other methods along with datura, it gives the poisonous components a chance to circulate in your system before you are caught attempting a secondary or tertiary method, or treated for such.

So, I'm thinking Datura and one or two other methods for me. The other two methods depend upon the relative privacy of the three acts. If In a private space, undisturbed, I think a combination of Datura and the Night-Night method, would do the trick. If I had a private space without housemates, I might add charcoal to the list, but seems to risky when you live with others.

Alternatively, something like Datura and jumping or Datura and drowning(with weights), with or without another method. I feel that the night-night method may interfere with jumping unless immaculately timed, and is likely to draw too much attention, if in a non-private location(everywhere to jump from when you don't live near canyons or mountains).

Does anyone have any thoughts combining methods?
