• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

why would anyone struggle to survive facing their own certain demise its completely pointless even if this place could bring you alive again you would just be doing the same thing and meeting the same end

life there is no point to it just meaningless struggle to survive only to meet your end anyway
nobody should be bring new life here the only thing you achieve by doing so is causing another things death
the earth is a shit hole and hellhole
you've got nothing to offer universe but shitty horrible lives in a shithole and hellhole world
nothing for all time would of been better than ever being alive here
there's nothing here i would want to be alive in and that's been the case for trillion of years
the human species is shit hole level intelligence
how dare you enslave me awful shit in this shithole and hellhole
all i want is to be nothing for all time since life in this place is so terrible horrible
i don't want anything just nothing
they won't even let me leave in peace
i had enough of this shithole and life in this shitty horrible universe
there never be able to explain why there is something rather than nothing
what a horrible place to be alive
it's just power over others either this place is completely lacking or we are just highly inadequate machines to really live how we would want too
nothing can exist without a substrate so there's no such thing as a pure concept
how can nothingness create something
how can matter actually be the real deal and not just some simulated system
reality is unknowable
i hope that we can destroy all this reality and end this for all time
life in this universe is terrible
imagine existing without needing anything to survive the way life is meant to be
imagine never needing to eat sleep drink piss shit seek shelter feeling cool or warm
just existing with infinite computing power at your disposal never dying or needing to rest
i never be able to understand all this so the point of me existing is pointless
i'll never have anything i would want out of life
i can't believe they would bring me alive for this shit what absolute waste of time life is
i wouldn't want to be enslaved in this awful shit in this shithole and hellhole
depressing planet change this miserable condition that exist on this earth
i've lived a life of misery and pain far better off never existing at all

we didn't ask to be here the least they could do is let us leave

If we didn't choose to be here, it feels like we should have the right to opt out without all the obstacles. It's frustrating that society makes it so difficult, as if we owe it to others to endure suffering just because we were born. The lack of choice in both coming into existence and leaving it feels like a trap.

Life is like a subscription service because you never signed up for it, yet you're stuck paying for it. Much like those free trials that automatically turn into paid plans, you were born without agreeing to the terms and conditions. You're just here, expected to keep up with the payments—whether it's effort, time, or money—or face the consequences.

You have to keep paying just to exist. Food, shelter, water, healthcare—everything essential to life comes at a cost. If you don't "pay," you suffer or die. The work required to sustain yourself is like an ongoing bill, and there's no real way to opt out unless you somehow win the lottery or inherit wealth.

The premium features of life cost extra. Better healthcare, better housing, and better opportunities are locked behind a paywall. If you don't have the money, you're stuck with the "free trial" version of life, which often means struggle and suffering. Meanwhile, unexpected costs—like illness, accidents, or inflation—hit you like surprise charges you never agreed to.

Some people get life for free while others overpay. Privilege plays a huge role, just like in subscription models where some get family accounts and perks while others are stuck paying full price for the bare minimum.

Worst of all, there's no real cancellation policy. If you try to "unsubscribe," there are legal, moral, and social barriers in place to stop you. And in the end, no matter how much you've paid, no matter how many premium features you unlocked, your subscription eventually runs out. There are no refunds, no carryovers—just an expiration date you don't get to choose. Life is the ultimate subscription scam.

Hey, Warden.

So, I've been stuck in your little "facility" for about 38 years now, and I've got some complaints. First off, what kind of prison doesn't even tell you why you're here? No crime, no trial—just boom, existence. Woke up one day with a sentence I never agreed to. Real classy.

Let's talk about the conditions. The cells? Some people get the VIP suites with all the perks, while the rest of us are crammed into overcrowded, barely functional units with broken plumbing. The food? Barely enough to keep you going, unless you're one of the lucky ones dining in the luxury wing. And don't even get me started on the work program—grind your whole life just to afford a slightly bigger cell, and if you refuse, they slap you with debt shackles. Amazing system.

Oh, and the guards? Half of them don't care, and the other half just make things worse. You call this a "society"? It's just a glorified prison yard where people pretend they're free because they get to choose their own handcuffs. You can pace around a little, sure, maybe even decorate your cell—but step out of line, and you'll see real quick who's in charge.

The parole system is a joke, too. "Just keep working hard, follow the rules, and maybe one day things will get better!" Yeah, right. Nobody's getting out of here alive, and we all know it. The best you can hope for is a slightly comfier sentence before the inevitable.

And don't try to sell me on the "make the best of it" speech. I didn't sign up for this. If I had a choice, I never would've walked through those gates in the first place. But hey, since I'm here, could you at least install an exit door that isn't buried under mountains of guilt, fear, and bureaucratic nonsense? You know, for those of us who really don't want to play inmate anymore?

No? Figures.

Fine. I'll just sit here and watch the clock tick down like the rest of the lifers. But just so you know—this prison sucks. Zero stars.

Crappy parents shouldn't have kids because parenting is a massive responsibility that directly affects a child's well-being, development, and future. If someone is unwilling or incapable of providing love, stability, and basic care, they have no business bringing another life into the world.

Children don't choose to be born. If someone creates a life, they are responsible for ensuring that life is worth living. Neglectful, abusive, or incompetent parenting leads to suffering that the child had no say in.

Neglect and abuse have lifelong consequences. Children who grow up in toxic or neglectful environments often deal with mental and physical health issues—depression, anxiety, trust issues, low self-esteem, and even physical conditions caused by neglect. Some never fully recover from the damage done in childhood.

Bad parenting also perpetuates cycles of trauma. Many abusive or neglectful parents were victims of bad parenting themselves. Without self-awareness and effort to break the cycle, they end up repeating the same harmful behaviors, dooming another generation to the same pain.

Some people have kids for selfish or misguided reasons—pressure from society, religious expectations, trying to "fix" a relationship, or simply because they didn't think things through. None of these are good enough reasons to create a whole new human being who will have to endure the struggles of life.

Raising a child properly takes emotional maturity, patience, and financial resources. People who are too immature, irresponsible, or unstable to provide a good home should not be having kids, period.

Even kids with good parents suffer because life itself is full of struggles. But when the people responsible for your safety and well-being are the source of your suffering, it adds an unnecessary level of hardship that can feel impossible to escape.

No child should be born into a situation where they are unloved, neglected, or abused. If someone isn't ready or capable of being a decent parent, they should not bring a child into the world—because the consequences fall entirely on the child, not them.

The decision to bring a child into the world is often seen as a natural, even joyful, act. However, beneath the surface, procreation is an irreversible decision made by others that forces a new individual into existence—an individual who must then endure suffering, obligations, and the inevitability of death. Those who are born did not choose this, yet they are the ones who pay the price for their parents' decision. Life is not a gift; it is a forced subscription to a system that demands effort, suffering, and eventual death, with no option to cancel. Worse still, this existence is like a prison—one that you did not sign up for, and one from which leaving is heavily restricted by societal norms and legal barriers.

Unlike any other situation in life, where people have the right to opt in or out, existence is forced upon every individual without their consent. You are born into a body, into a society, and into a set of circumstances that you had no say in. And yet, despite having no choice in coming here, you are expected to endure whatever hardships life throws at you. Even more disturbing is the fact that leaving this existence is not easy—suicide is not only physically difficult but is also stigmatized, discouraged, and in many cases, actively prevented. Many governments even criminalize assisted suicide, ensuring that people must continue their unwanted existence, regardless of their suffering. It is as if you were signed up for a lifelong subscription to suffering, and the cancellation button is either missing, locked away, or comes with extreme consequences.

Life functions like an expensive subscription service that you never signed up for but are forced to pay for every single day. The price is your time, energy, and suffering. From the moment you are born, you must work to survive, maintain relationships, and meet expectations that society places on you. If you fail to pay the "fees"—whether that means working, conforming, or participating in the system—you suffer even more through poverty, isolation, or punishment. Unlike an actual subscription, where you can simply opt-out, life offers no real choice. You are thrown into it and expected to keep up, whether you like it or not.

Those who defend procreation often argue that life contains happiness, love, and pleasure. While this is sometimes true, the reality is that suffering is guaranteed, while pleasure is uncertain, fleeting, and often conditional. Pain, illness, loss, and death are inevitable, but happiness is not. A person may experience moments of joy, but they can be easily taken away—by tragedy, illness, financial hardship, or even the natural process of aging. The supposed "gift" of life is one that comes with hidden costs: endless struggles, responsibilities, and, ultimately, death.

The cruel irony of existence is that the ones who decide to create life are not the ones who have to endure it. Parents choose to have children for their own reasons—whether out of societal pressure, personal desires, or even accident—but it is the child who must endure the consequences. The burden of life falls entirely on the one who was born, not on the ones who made the choice to create them. This raises serious ethical concerns: Is it fair to bring someone into a world of suffering, uncertainty, and guaranteed death without their consent?

Life is not a gift—it is a forced subscription, a prison without an easy exit, and a burden imposed by others. The ones who create life do not suffer for it; rather, those who are born must pay the price through pain, struggle, and eventual death. In a world where suffering is inevitable and escape is difficult, the morality of procreation must be questioned. If life is a prison, then it is only fair to recognize that those who are born are its unwilling prisoners, forced to endure a reality they never chose.

My belief is that we are living in hell

Life, at its core, is a cycle of suffering, struggle, and inevitable loss. Though some may claim that life contains joy and meaning, these fleeting experiences are overshadowed by the relentless pain that defines existence. From the necessity of consuming other beings for survival to the cruelty of disease, injustice, and the looming certainty of death, life operates more like a punishment than a gift. Even the things we cling to—our relationships, possessions, and identities—are temporary illusions, as nothing truly belongs to anything, and everything ultimately disintegrates. If hell is a place of suffering, loss, and meaninglessness, then we are already living in it.

One of the most disturbing truths about existence is that survival requires destruction. Every living being must consume others—whether animals or plants—to stay alive. This brutal system ensures that pain and death are inescapable aspects of existence. Predators hunt, prey suffers, and even plants are cut down and devoured. There is no escape from this cycle; to exist is to take from others. A world that forces its inhabitants to kill and consume just to delay their own suffering and death is not a paradise—it is a hell designed to sustain itself through endless pain.

If life were inherently good, it would not require artificial improvements to be tolerable. Modern medicine, electricity, heating, shelter, and grocery stores make life easier, but they only serve to mask the brutality of nature. Without these human-made systems, disease, starvation, and exposure would be inescapable. The mere fact that humans must continuously create things to make life livable proves how unbearable life naturally is.

If life were not hell, innocent children would not be born with cancer, genetic disorders, or into extreme poverty and war. They did nothing to deserve such suffering, yet life burdens them with pain from the moment they enter the world. There is no fairness, no divine justice—just a chaotic system that assigns misery at random. The existence of childhood suffering alone proves that life is not a gift but a cruel lottery where even the most innocent are subjected to pain.

One of the greatest illusions of life is ownership. People dedicate their entire existence to accumulating wealth, possessions, and relationships, yet nothing can ever truly be owned. Everything we claim to possess—our bodies, our homes, even our memories—will eventually fade, be lost, or be taken from us. Relationships dissolve, objects decay, and even our sense of self changes over time. In the end, everything returns to nothing. Life gives us attachments only to rip them away, ensuring that suffering is inevitable.
No matter how much effort we put into building, maintaining, or preserving, everything eventually falls apart. Empires collapse, families break apart, bodies decay, and even the universe itself is headed toward eventual destruction. The impermanence of everything makes life feel like a cruel joke—no matter what we do, time erases all traces of our existence. If life were not hell, it would not be built upon a foundation of inevitable loss.

Even if one manages to avoid disease, starvation, and loss, death is inevitable. Every connection, every achievement, and every fleeting moment of happiness will disappear. And for what? Most people live and die without making any significant impact, their lives amounting to nothing in the grand scheme of the universe. If existence had a purpose, it would not end in absolute erasure. Instead, it follows a pattern of temporary struggle, suffering, and destruction.

If there were any fairness or order to existence, suffering would have limits. Yet the universe is indifferent. Natural disasters, pandemics, and accidents wipe out innocent lives at random. There is no reason for who suffers and who prospers. If there were a creator, they would either be absent, indifferent, or outright malevolent. If there is no creator, then existence is simply a meaningless accident in which suffering is an unavoidable consequence. Either way, there is no justice—only pain, randomness, and the slow decay of everything we value.

All aspects of life confirm that we are living in hell. Existence demands suffering, survival requires destruction, and everything we cling to is temporary. Even with human-made comforts, life remains a fragile, painful experience that ends in inevitable loss and oblivion. Nothing truly belongs to us, and everything eventually disintegrates, leaving behind only the hollow memory of what once was. If hell is defined as a place of suffering, impermanence, and meaninglessness, then we have been living in it all along.

You should be thankful, some people have it worse

Why do people say this? Is the fact that the majority of people on earth are poor supposed to comfort me? Am I supposed to say "You're right, thank god I'm not like those people. Thank you for reminding me that the majority of people are poor, live under an authoritarian regime, or both. The fact that so many people are suffering really makes me happy." Do people who think like this have no empathy?
It's such a stupid thing to compare people's issues. Just because one isn't as "dire" as the other doesn't mean it's not a problem anymore.

attachment is the root cause of suffering, and to understand this we must first understand what attachment really means. when you do something expecting a particular outcome or result that means you are attached to that work because the result of it matters to you. however, the intensity of attachment may vary and accordingly we suffer if the outcome and results are not what we wanted. we are attached to different things to varying degrees. And if more intense is the craving for a certain outcome, more intensely we suffer if we do not achieve it.

It is because you are attached to the idea that you belong in a romantic relationship. You are attached to the idea that, even if you are content, having a partner would elevate your happiness. You are attached to the idea that without a partner your life isn't as good as it can be. Those things might be true sometimes, but not all the time.

expect nothing and you will never be disappointed
It means if you learn not to expect things from others, and just do for yourself then you will not be disappointed when the other person does not follow through

Never get too attached to anyone unless they also feel the same towards you, because one sided expectations can mentally destroy you

I agree with this. I remember in my 20s being sad I didnt have a partner and looking at my friends with partners and being envious of them. Now Im 37 and all those friends I was jealous of are all divorced and cheated on each other or were in sexless marriages. Id rather be single than go through any of that. The grass always seems greener on the other side
