• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Very easy.
It takes a few minutes.

However, buying illegal stuff, for example, requires more time and knowledge.

The "Dark Web" is not some completely dark and mystical place.
There are many myths surrounding this topic.
Also, not everything on the Dark Web is related to crime and illegal stuff.

It all depends on what you want to do and what your intentions are.
I am not an expert in this topic, so it would be best if you took your time and found information about it yourself.

Download Tor browser.

If you plan on hiding your internet traffic from the government you should probably consider using Tails or Whonix as your OS as well.

Don't bridges do just that tho? The traffic is unreadable while entering Tor, all one can see if that you're using it. Thus bridges handle that.

Bridges are unlisted Tor relays that allow you to access Tor even if most other relays' IPs are blocked, true that your ISP can only see your encrypted internet traffic going to the entry node and the site you're visiting only sees the IP of the exit node.

You can't trust a closed-source operating system with such sensitive tasks though, it all depends on your threat model though, this is only really necessary if you're a whistleblower or contraband dealer.

Download tor browser or Brave. Brave comes with a built in Tor browser. There is a lot of legal stuff like news sites, email services etc. Media always likes to present darkweb as a bad and dangerous thing but it is good tool if the government tries to censor and ban opinions they don't like.

What's Arch?
Thanks everyone for your help.

Just having a VPN wouldn't work?
