Method Cutting throat via electric hand saw

After a period of thinking this appears to be a very effective method. Peaceful methods don't usually come with a high success rate. This method is messy, bloody, painful and effective. I am scared but I feel as if I must toughen up and execute. If many of us stopped looking for peaceful ways we'd be off this planet already. Any ideas of how to make this method more effective?

You gotta be very very high to actually do it but realistically gunshot is easier in terms on pain and it takes seconds…

I don't think I would have the guts to look at the spinning blade and still consider putting it on my neck. I think stabbing with the knife is a quick method that's why some people did it, I think it would take at least a few seconds to get to correct arteries with a hand saw and cut them. I imagine it would be hard to control it because of the pain and also most people probably would abort the attempt after making a shallow cut because of SI.

As of effectiveness I think you would need to be under influence of a substance that would get rid of SI but wouldn't make your vision blurry or make your hands shaky so I guess alcohol wouldn't cut it.

Also the electric blade must be an expensive one, with a short blade, that is waterproof. If it gets fucked in the middle of the attempt it would suck ass. Honestly nothing else comes to my mind. Maybe butchers use electric blades? No idea

Definitely a horrible idea, very high chance you would abort it halfway through due to the severe pain, and then you end up with a gaping scar on your neck which is grounds for involuntary hospitalisation

I tried something similar. Not going to work. You will most likely survive. The hospital will put you under 24/7 "at risk patient" watch while they patch you up. No utensils when eating. Then you are shipped off to a psyche ward for observation and treatment.

I'm wondering why butchers don't use hand saws to slaughter animals ... Afaik they use a very sharp knife to make a clean and quick cut through the throat.

But anyway, no offence, I think it's a cruel method to die, there are much better methods.
