Help Cutting Method

From what I've heard cutting as a method isn't very effective, it would be difficult to cut an artery deep enough.
Would it be possible to die of blood loss from lots and lots of less severe cuts? Has anyone ever heard of this happening and was it successful?

This is not a good method. Small cuts clot off and stop bleeding before they can lose significant amounts of blood, which is why you have to cut arteries. There is a reason cutting is only 1-4% of suicide deaths.

I would assume jabbing into the side of your neck really hard won't work?

uh i managed to get hospitalized for a bit from slicing my arm into bits and ended up being unable to stand from bloodloss but didn't die
