Cutting as method?

I know cutting would do the trick if I cut deep enough into the carotid arteries and due to previous research if I cut one of the arteries I'll be out around a minute or so if I go for both it should only take a couple seconds before going unconscious. Now the thing is would alcohol and painkillers numb the pain? I've read somewhere or maybe it was a dream idk lol, that if you drink alcohol like hard liquor and painkillers it makes cutting nearly painless. I've heard that's what some people try to do when their method is to slit their wrists. So I would test this out on my thigh since I already kinda self harm and if it were to be painless I would cut the two carotid arteries. I would like to hear others thoughts on this plan.

It's not so much the pain that makes this method brutal but the sensation of bloodloss; it creates a horrid sensation of disassociation, panic, coldness, discomfort, and general agony that can last for hours. It's your body and your life but there's a reason why this is not a recommended means.

I don't think bloodloss would be a problem to me, who knows it could be with that much blood, but I've self harmed enough to where bloodloss doesn't bother me to much

I was thinking of heroin overdose as another method but this method would probably be the most accessible to me besides hanging which I tried yesterday lol and it didn't work out too great

Bloodloss from SH is quite negligible, no offense. When you cut a major artery and suddenly your brain and organs are lacking what they need, though, you're not gonna have conscious control; no matter how "ready" you are the scared animal in you will be unleashed and you'll be terrified and displeased. Not a very pleasant note to end on.

H overdose arent as easy as the media makes it out to be. Usually when someone does die it's usually due to poly substance OD.

Very, very difficult, I have tried many times. It's more likely that you'll cause nerve or tendon damage.

Whats the story on why hanging didnt work out great?

Tried partial using a belt jammed in the door, put all my weight down but wasn't able to pass out even after 3 minutes it wasn't tight enough to where I couldn't breathe but should have been tight enough to block off blood flow with the arteries.

I wanted to complement the idea about the pain that can interfere. I guess local anesthetics or opioid analgesics could solve this problem
I also thought that it might be appropriate to use anticoagulants like dalteparin sodium or at least aspirin to thin the blood. But i don't have too much knowledge about it
I'm also a bit interested in this method. As a dude whose full arm looks like one big lumpy burn, i wanted to say that touching the arteries with sharp objects at least on the arm isn't too painful (unless you accidentally hurt your nerves in the process)
