Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hey all, I have been browsing this website for quite some time, but only recently decided to make an account. I would like to donate my organs after I CTB, but to do so one would have to CTB in the hospital. I was curious whether anyone has heard of cases in the past where someone successfully CTBed in an hospital environment, as I imagine it will be more challenging given the high chances of a medical intervention. I am considering using SA as this has no known antidote, but I am worried that it might damage my organs. Any information is appreciated.

I think the most appropriate method for your project would be the tourniquet. Can be carried out anywhere. Does not damage valuable organs. Only a very short loneliness required. No suspicious equipment required.

This seems to be very difficult to do, though your good intentions are commendable. Ctb already only works for 1 in 23 attempts in the u.s., so my opinion is- if you want to do something so difficult, why make it even more difficult? I understand wanting to leave something good behind. I did some searches and found that though SA does not have an antidote per se, there are treatments that can work for this, and you would be in a setting where these treatment options would be most readily available.

I can't imagine them using your organs after SA od - totally absurd idea- even aside from organ damage, such death would result in investigation

I think this would be quite difficult in a hospital depending on what monitoring is being done. Any effort to keep you alive would be done when you're found. There's no guarantee a nurse, etc. wouldn't walk in within seconds/minutes.

Yep, a hospital has one mission, to keep people alive.(Even people who don't want to be alive)! So your choice of location would have everything ready to save you. Many suicide methods require time, and a location where you will not be disturbed. Your method is probably a good one, but the location of execution is terrible. Much love to you.

Thanks for the input everyone, and yeah I was hoping I was overlooking some method that would actually be reliable even in a hospital setting, but this might be quite hard. I was a bit hopeful for a poison related method, since in many cases of poison-related death organ donation has actually been successful: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6242794/, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC270623/ . But I really want to avoid the scenario of being "saved" and immediately involuntarily hospitalised.

what you want to do is noble but it's not worth the risk.
