Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

this is something that really messes with me. when i eventually ctb, what is my partner gonna think? will he feel guilty? frustrated? angry? will he try to ctb too?

what about my younger siblings? will they follow my bad example? will they hate me for leaving them? will my parents make up stories about me having gone on a trip?

maybe none of this is my responsibility. or maybe it is, and i should leave everything prepared. i don't want to write a letter. i want it to feel normal, almost like any other day. just going to sleep after having a normal day.

Probably why, in my opinion, it's best to leave a note explaining how you have felt for a time leading up to it. Was watching a you tube clip the other day, about a sportsman in my country (Australia), whose brother ended things. He left a note and as he said, it left the family with a few answers and a slight willingness to move on. Just an opinion but the choice is yours.

Or you can try framing the suicide as an accident that way they don't feel guilty about it and don't feel like they could have done something too change the outcome.

That's a good idea actually. If I have the mental strength that's an option.

at the same time, it's hard to imagine an accident scenario. if i got hit or run over, i'd ruin the driver's life. idk what to do

I struggle with this a lot. I'm worried my suicide will cause my sister, so much pain that she will drift through life depressed unable to cope, and might even end her life. I wish there was a way to know what comes after.

i truly don't feel it's my responsibility. perhaps this may be reckless thinking but if my loved ones knew the turmoil i was going through daily and didn't have empathy to understand where i was coming from and not make it about themselves .. certainly there would be nothing i could say to console them anyway. if i had a loved one that ctb ... i wouldn't make it about myself. i'd lock in the love i had for them, and be respectful of their choice. despite however i felt. it's not about me

so true
Me cuesta mucho lidiar con esto. Me preocupa que mi suicidio le cause tanto dolor a mi hermana que viva deprimida, incapaz de afrontarlo, e incluso que se quite la vida. Ojalá hubiera una forma de saber qué sucede después.
