Looks like a successful attempt with just a plastic bag on its own? I always thought something like this must be incredibly hard to succeed with and now I'm wondering if it's an easier option.

It is incredibly hard to succeed with. You better be 1000% resolved, because you're going to have to fight with everything you got to keep from ripping the bag off due to the body's hypercapnic response (panic), that will be set in motion as soon as you start breathing back in your exhaled CO2.
