Venting ctb tomorrow?

so basically i thought about ctb tomorrow but i thought it would be harsh because it's my friend's birthday.
I thought i should spend a lot of money so i bought them a bunch of nice stuff and walked TWO HOURS to their house. (they live two towns away) . Earlier i messaged him saying if he's home and wants to hang out but he said he just broke his arm so he won't be doing anything for his birthday. Well what do i find when i get to his house. Him and all my friends having a party. Now i don't really care if i'm invited or not because it's not my choice but 1.he lied to me and 2. He just took the stuff i got him and left. Then I walked two hours back and bought myself some rope. Do you think anyone will even notice i'm dead? The only time i get messages is if i ask them something. If i disabled my notifications from duolingo then i wouldn't even have to put my phone on do not disturb.

Im so sorry that they treated you like that despite all the effort you put in, i had friends like that too and i know how shitty it can feel, but please dont make a rash decision. Give yourself some time to think this throu. Whatever you decide i hope that you find peace

That's just horrible and I don't think they're your friends. People are the absolute worst sometimes. I believe people on here do care. I know it's not the same but it something. I hope you're able to make some real friends who value you.

He's not even worthy of being called a friend. You're a good person, you thought about how that could affect him, you bought him something, you remembered his birthday, and he lied to you. Many people would kill for a friend like you. Feel free to rant and let it all out if you want.

this is really just so sad to read. i'm sorry that that happened to you. i don't know why anyone would be so malicious and dismissive of someone. i would blow up on him and his friends and tell him that if he doesn't care about me at all, he should just admit it. those guys don't deserve your attention. it's not fair to treat someone like that when they thought of you and wanted to do something for you.
