Hemlock is actually native to Florida and I see it all the time here, maybe I should try it.

But this I doubt. Since I find it unlikely that Socrates went all the way to Florida to get some and then come back specially since he was convicted. But the idea of Socrates with a guayabera while sipping rum and coke and preaching the virtues is hilarious to me.

lmao wrong word, not native i should've say, it's very common here tho. There is also an oleander tree in my neighborhood. I just didn't chose these plants because in my research, I found they take a bit longer to kill. Aconitum death happens faster.

I used the roots too 😭 but i need to get my hands on raw aconitum roots not ones that been processed to increase mortality

Yeah apparently the plant propagated through the whole world or at least a good part of it, but that's enough botanics (or maybe not, giving the subject at hand). I hope your next try ends up better.
