I'm not a DIY'er. Are hoods available for purchase anywhere?

There's EEBD hoods / SCBA. I don't know too much about them as I think for myself I would go with the exit bag, but there is some discussion in the megathread recently. This post discusses it, and you may find some other useful info in the rest of that thread - though it does have so many pages. I intend to try to read it all at some point.
