Venting cruelty triggering self harm

does anyone else struggle with this too? you see or hear about something awful, like abuse or cruelty, and it leads to you selfharming out of pain, overwhelm or disgust.
i just accidentally saw a cat killing video and afterwards i began cutting myself, crying because to know we live in such a cruel world pains me deeply . I'm disgusted. I'm disgusted by the things we as humans do. i don't want to be here alongside these people. i don't wanna live knowing such heinous acts take place all day everyday.

this is a real shitty thread that could definitely be written better but I'm out of it lol, sorry

yes it definitely is as I'm triggered constantly since horrible shit is happening all the time. i think the only reason I'm not fully covered in scars from impulsive selfharming is because i dont live alone.

i just really cant take cruelty i guess. im weak and need to take my frustration out on myself. plus im nobody anyways
