Story Crisis line saved me this week

Been in crisis nearly a week. Trying and failing to get help, decided to try one last time before finishing ordering everything for ctb. After 4 calls to 3 different crisis lines (throughout the week) I actually found one that gave me space to talk whilst listening and providing practical advice. 1h 20 minutes of talking on the phone we formulated a plan together. No police involvement, no A and E trip and I'm feeling a lot calmer. It feels like I can breathe for the first time this week.

Thank you, I've heard good and bad things. So far I've probably had experiences at all ends of the spectrum. Most pretty neutral though, not exactly helpful but a good distraction for the evening.

I think it's worth giving them a go, the worst bit is actually ringing them. This time I almost had to trick myself into pressing call lol. I'm glad I did though.

Wow! I think you're the first person I see who has had a good experience with a crisis line!
When I called, it felt like a joke!
