I realise that death of any sort can involve pain. I am facing a 2 week struggle and eventually drown in my body fluids after a long period, which is not a pleasant thought. This way seems a bit quicker; I am in control and it is neat and tidy. I am say nearly 70. I have lived my life and now want to end it my way before the inevitable happens. Anyway if done properly it can be over quickly. Choking should not happen, only strangulation or with a "drop" a broken neck.
What?
@SweetSpot086 was talking about the choking and suffocation from Coronavirus,
not from strangulation or hanging.
Oh wait,
now I understand. OP
isn't wanting to use Covid as a 90% guaranteed suicide method (which is how it could be initially interpreted). OP is instead
concerned they will catch Covid and it has a high chance of killing them, and so they want to use another suicide method first.
EDIT: I also hadn't read your profile, where you clarify things better. However, it's generally easier to put all relevant information in your post itself, rather than requiring people to go elsewhere for pertinent facts.
@Covid (OP), there is a
lot of hysteria and misinformation going around concerning the Coronavirus. As a first step, I would recommend you seek a qualified medical opinion on how likely you actually are to contract it (by virtue of your health risk factors) and if contracted, how likely it is to be fatal. You don't mention it, so I'm assuming you
don't have any reasons to suicide apart from your fear of an unpleasant Covid death? That is, if Covid hadn't happened, you wouldn't be considering suicide?
