Wow, the pace has been terrible due to all the evil down-counters.
I dunno why i didn't do this last time...looks like 100k was reached only a couple weeks after the 5-year mark:

They were averaging about +20k/year; about 1,667/month; 56/day; like 2/hour.
and here we are over two years later, not even close to 140k! the average has dropped by 25%!
at the old pace it would have taken roughly 50 years from start of the game to get to a million, current pace closer to 70 (if that had been the pace all along).

so yeah, 1M feels like a stretch goal lol but double devil number definitely at least possible in my "natural" lifetime...
