I have what Boddibo describes: the physical sensations and mental state, including aphantasia. This all stems from (C)PTSD, and I don't have flashbacks as much. I've also been diagnosed with anxiety and panic disorder.

@MissAbyss C-PTSD here too. That's interesting that your aphantasia comes from the trauma too. Didn't know it was linked thanks for sharing that with me. And i'm sorry you have to go through it.
@boddibo does your therapist give you medication for the anxiety perchance?

I studied psychology for many years on my own including various treatment methods that I apply to myself. The psychiatrists and psychologists I saw honestly admitted they could no longer treat me because I knew too much. Therefore, the chance of finding another compatible one is slim. Méh, I don't like them anyways...

PAWS is horrid. I knew someone who had it, i'm very sorry.
I'm also agoraphobic actually, it's nice to know i'm not alone on that!

Yeah so it's possible you just have DP and panic attacks. It could be silent flashbacks, but that doesn't technically have to be PTSD, there are like you said other criteria for it. Could be a plain old trauma reponse.
