is that really true tho? they probably got frozen long before humans were even a thing and human immune system is very complex for those newly thawed out microorganisms to do much damage to us

most viruses are extremely ancient and have no problem fucking us up. issue is if they are in fact older than humans we would have zero immunity, which is actually worse. even if they aren't pathogenic to humans, if there's any form of life which is susceptible, it'll likely cause a massive shift in the global biosphere. all life is interdependent
