Well it's nothing special really. I just go through phases where I cant deal with the fact that nothing we do actually matters, it makes it hard to find the motivation to do anything other than ctbing. Do you get like that?

Yeah, its insane to me that people can put up a front and appear normal, our existence is insane. Also if my replies are late it's because im going between applying for jobs and this.

I called a friend of mine before. He lives in my building. He's an 84 year old Vietnam vet who lives with his wife who is in her 60's. He has steel rods throughout his entire spine and he had shoulder and knee surgery a few months back. He is in tremendous pain from those surgeries that oxytocin doesn't begin to help. In addition, he is always losing his balances and falling. He fractured one of his fingers recently because he was about to slam into a wall and he protected his head with his hand.He's going to the hospital today to have the cast removed from his hand and talk to the MD that did his surgeries about his pain. He talks about killing himself for the last 20 years and yet he continues. That's how difficult suicide is.

Oh wow, that's awful. This world is so cruel. Im terrified at the prospect of chronic pain as I get older. I regret playing rugby league during my adolescence because im definetly going to be feeling the affects of that come middle age. The only saving grace is that I never had any head knocks so my brain wont be mashed potato (until a bit later). There's been countless stories of contact sport stars killing themselves because the pain is too much, we had two in Australia within the past couple of years.

Yes if you go at sports real hard when you are young, you will definitely feel it when you get older. I am a living testament to that.

What did you play growing up? Here in new south wales I think theyve banned tackling and competitive leagues for junior rugby league until like under 11s or 12s so i guess that's something.

You name it, I played it. Football, basketball, racquetball and most of all my favorite....tennis.Plus I practically lived on bicycles. I ran and walked many miles in one day too. Too freaking much, but I loved it. My father called me the playboy of the western world. My Aunt's husband(a hick) used to say " Why don't you get a job in construction if you're going to do all the shit"....LOL

Haha. I wont lie though, as much as I wish I didn't put my body through all the trauma I do miss playing sports on the weekends with my childhood mates, a much simpler time...
