It was performed as the pre match entertainment for the 2016 NRL grand final. This is one of the only acts performed at a sporting event that I actually enjoyed usually they fall flat on their face. Like for example the year after this they had the Macklemore clown perform and he turned it into a woke fest and was clearly lacking some help from his good friend auto tune.

The good thing about country singers is that they actually sound good live unlike most of the trash pop superstars in the charts nowadays.

From what ive read her father is Indonesian and her mother is an indigenous australian. and yeah, she has a great voice. Ironically she rose to stardom on Australia's version of American Idol like Carrie. We have some great singers who would be world famous if they were in the US. Although who knows, maybe they wouldn't make it over there because some of the singers I see over there are straight up 🗑.

Well you know I'm an old geezer, so I wouldn't know any of today's singers. I've heard their names but the only one I actually watched music videos of was Lady Gaga. Poker face and something else. I enjoyed them, but what I like about her is she gave respect to the Pet Shop Boys by performing at the British Music Awards. It's over 10 minutes long but I think it's epic.

Yes, that was Brandon Flowers.
I didn't know Lady Gaga acted. Without looking it up, I think that movie is a remake of an old Barbara Streisand movie.

I think it's a remake of a remake of a remake some movies get remade too much. But yeah, she's a great actor, would've killed it back in the golden age of hollywood, she would've paired well with someone like my boy Cary Grant.

Looks like it's gonna be raining all day here.
I might have to get a new battery for my old Toyota. It was hard to start the other night and the battery is 7 years old. I have to test it with a multimeter, but 7 years is a long time for a car battery to last.

I had to clean the huge roasting pan and every piece of metal on the rack and I had to clean it in the tub because they are too big for the kitchen sink.Then the pan scratched the tub, so I had to get that off with Ajax and then clean the grease off the kitchen sink. All this for some lousy turkey that I cooked wrong.
