whether it's just a habit to write ctb because everybody does it (groupthink) or as alternative language to make them feel better about something/deny the reality of an event/a euphemism... idk, interesting

i would have written all that if english was my first language and if I wasn't lazy ,
I used to study psychology years ago and social psychology was my favorite part—

but i completely agree, once again, if the only group you can be a part of by essence is the one that is on this website, you have to adapt, conform and use the same lexicon as them to finally feel like you belong somewhere and not be ostracized
