An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
Once when I was very, very young I made the mistake of getting involved with an ugly. They were the ugliest piece of filth inside as well. I still feel dirty for it. Rarely I see someone so ugly as to remind me of them, and my skin crawls.
I'm actually quite impressed with the results of this poll. I checked off the first box.
I think there are a lot worse things in this world to be than "ugly" and it's all a matter of perspective anyway.
Well let's be honest. The physical aspect of someone is what we all notice first. It's natural and there's nothing wrong with it. But when you get to know that person if they are ugly on the inside they become ugly on the outside. You don't even bother to look at them anymore because you're repulsed by then. Sometimes you'll meet someone who is average looking but their personality is so wonderful it makes you more physically attracted to them. And looks only last for so long. A lot of guys that j find attractive not people don't. I fell in love with Steven Tyler when I was 8 and I still think he and Joe zoerry are gorgeous. And then there is Jason Momoa. Damn that Lisa Bonet. Haha
I think that people can't love a person they think is ugly from inside or/and outside. But they can love a person who most people might see as ugly. If you love someone then he/she is never ugly but the most beautiful person in every way.
I have loved a person whose nearly all physical qualities are often seen as ugly/unwanted.
