Could i have mild schizophrenia?

So ill keep this brief, this isn't a constant thing but it flares in a sense.

I see shadow people.
I see faces next to my bed.
I hear zombie screams, groans.

I had an experience which felt almost like a stroke, i got paralysed and a girl spoke in my head all night.

Sometimes at night the sky goes pure white and an entity that i haven't seen yet (a screaming bright light basically) flies down the stairs and i run inside shitting it.

Imagine a nextbot but its a bright white light screaming down stairs to get you as the sky is pure white even at night, fuck me..

One night in the winter i saw a bigfoot type silhouette stalking me, this is UK and the shadow was not real to be a person, it faded in and out anyways.

I get periods of paranoia, i clear my house with weapons, morning and night.

Um so.. looney or maybe?

You might be able to change the hallucinatory state of being with some helpful medication. Glad you have an appt on Monday.

I'm glad you'll get to see one- there are a lot of things that can cause these symptoms beyond schizophrenia so a doctor's opinion is better than random SaSu strangers.

Yeah it's good you have an appointment on Monday. The symptoms you describe are likely Paranoid Schizophrenia. But it can be other things too like a temporal lobe tumor causing the voices. If it's Schizophrenia, there are plenty of medications that work to lessen the voices so you will be fine. Best of luck.

I mean i have pretty bad headaches in the left rear region of my head almost my neck as well.

Eyes are salty tearing most days too, fuck im probably dying but man lol

I've experienced the shadow people and auditory hallucinations, but in my case it was 100% caused by alcohol withdrawals, after a very long bender. Shit hits the fan once you're a few days in, with zero sleep whatsoever.

Still not pleasant, either way. I couldn't tell it was all in my had the first time it happened.

Definitely caught me off guard the first time lol.

I kept hearing my name being whispered when I was trying to sleep, people laughing outside in the street, even though it was 3am. It's happened too many times to count since, so I'm used to it.

Hopefully you get somewhere on Monday, but knowing our NHS, they'll refer you and you won't get an appointment for ages.

I have schizoaffective disorder and while I was getting my diagnosis they will check to see if it may be some other form of a lesser(I guess) complication. There are hallucinations that accompany a lot of mental illnesses so it really just depends on if you check the boxes to get pushed to that. I'd say the shadow people or the spirits as I call them are some of the easier ones to deal with. The worst ones are when it's full on real people and they are following you because it's hard to rationalize My way out of those… and the auditory ones brainwashing you. It sucks

In the UK the doctor wouldn't prescribe me any meds not even at the hospital, he will refer you to the psychiatric dept and make sure you ask them about the side effects and explain you are here voluntarily and that you don't want to take these meds long term, I mean tell them maximum 6 weeks to see if it's resolved the problem.

Hopefully, with short term usage you shouldn't get serious side effects but if it comes back speak to them again.

Google the name of the meds and read all the information so your aware of how it can effect you.

That's why i've decided not to go man, it's just too damn annoying going through this shit and talking to GPs.
