Venting Cost of living is too high to survive

I work 30-40 hours every week but after all the taxes where I live, I only make about $2k a month. My lease ends in 2 weeks and none of the apartments I've toured/applied to have accepted me. I have perfect history, good credit, and steady employment. I'm just too broke to be allowed to live.

I've spent all day applying and messaging these people. Zillow, PadMapper, Redfin, Craigslist... dozens upon dozens upon dozens of listings, and nothing. Everybody requires you to make 3x monthly rent, and for what? It's not for their protection, and it sure has hell isn't for mine. If I stop paying rent, I'm evicted regardless. It's just pure greed. Corporate avarice. It's so fucking evil. Just keep inflating till you fucking pop.

Good thing I still have some SN. No antiemetics or anything cool like that. I guess I'll just work for the next 2 weeks, until one of these days I mysteriously die of cerebral hypoxia, making some young white rich couple touring my soon-to-be vacant apartment walk in on my bloated blue corpse. Sorry guys, it's not my fault! I feel like I really have no options. I don't have a cosigner. All these leasing agents are such airheaded morons. I could afford to pay rent at any of these places I applied to, and none of them would take me because I'm just not rich enough. That's fucking crazy, dude.

I feel that way myself. Made a couple mistakes. Now 1200 miles from home and no money. I moved with a job lined up and they withdrew the offer a week before moving, but it was too late. The job I was leaving already found my replacement and my apartment I was living in was listed. It's been six weeks, I finally got a job but I have to wait for orientation that isn't until March 2nd. Rent is late for my new place and my unfaithful boyfriend spent all of his money on alcohol.
I'm about to be homeless and I'm thinking about FSH soon. I'm scared but I also have nothing left.
