I should have uploaded her potato salad recipe because I completely agree that it needs to "melt in your mouth", have no time for hard ass potato chunks in potato salad, American style.

And Dijon mustard has NO place in American potato salad (but that's a sep issue).

Lately, I find myself gravitating towards cooking shows, mostly older ones, on YouTube as a way to relax.

i recently listened to the latest season of Serial where they were looking at the Cleveland justice system soup to nuts. they mention early on how the justice building (w/ courts, etc.) only plays cooking shows b/c (as i remember it) they found it was the most relaxing thing to put on!

I actually have 3 containers of potato salad in my fridge right now. I've been going through a real potato salad phase lately. And yes, no dijon mustard. I'd also like to add, no pickles. I've had that before. Wtf? No.
