Fighting alcoholism starts with wanting to get better, so I don't think there's any convincing you. Even then, many who want to get better struggle and don't succeed. Not sure what you expect us to do, we aren't miracle workers and are sick and tired of saviorism. Do what you want.

Depends on how much and what you drink. I drink at least 4 to 5 coors light a day, and I eat and it's enough to take the edge off. That said, I don't recommend it. but I'm not one to discourage someone to enjoy themselves

It's typically a slow torturous death unfortunately. You likely CTB anyways, before succumbing to the slow death from it.
