Discussion Constrictor Hitch knot?

I was thinking about using a constrictors hitch, as seen in f.ex. this video. Would this work in a specific setup or would it be impossible to achieve with a regular rope supporting a human's weight?

I talked to you about this a couple days ago but I also came across this video for making a proper snare. Constrictor knot wouldn't work well for this application.
