Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

What makes someone truly suicidal? In the many groups and hospitals and just online communities I see "suicidal" people trying to kinda NOT kill themselves? As in willingly admitting themselves to hospitals or trying some kind of coping method to not do it. If I shared online in other places my stance on being pro choice or sharing a method to someone that ASKED for it (I know that's my mistake, but that's not the topic here) other people who said they are suicidal flood and start talking about how fucked up that is. Or "suicidal" people telling me I shouldn't do it blah blah blah the typical speech. So…. It confuses me. If someone is suicidal, wouldn't they know what it's like to be me? Or suicidal people that call helplines or willingly admit themselves to hospitals. Then they don't truly want to die, so can they be called suicidal? When do we draw the line at calling a person suicidal?

By the way this isn't aimed at anyone, I'm not trying to accuse anyone. I just wanna clarify, and kinda express frustration when supposedly suicidal people that get what it's like give me the typical speech everyone else does. And I get some people wanna recover, absolutely nothing wrong with that. Make whatever choice is best for you

People tryna recover, I guess. Either that or brainwashed by the pro-life belief of "Talk to someone, it WILL help you!"

Honestly, based from what I've seen, a lot of suicidal people are hypocrites in the sense that they think that their own suicide is okay but they condemn other people killing themselves. Even some people here have that sentiment tbh. Being suicidal doesn't automatically mean that you're pro choice and, make no mistake, most suicidal people are not pro choice

Makes sense. Obviously nothing wrong with trying to recover.

There's a suicidality that's more along the lines of wanting to die but not wanting to kill yourself for a variety of reasons. Passive suicidal ideation. It's where you wish you were dead or that you were never born, and this can progress to actively making plans.

As far as suicidal people telling others not to kill themselves, this comes from an emotional response and the idea that many suicidal people have that while they can't be saved and suicide is their only option, other people can be saved because of whatever reason, usually they go with the thinking that other people are more capable than them. Not trying to say that suicidal people are inferior in any way, just using what I think. I think for example, that I can never fix myself, but someone else who has problems can be helped because maybe they haven't had their problems for as long or that they're not too damaged yet like me. If I have this line of thinking, other people do too.

Plus, people feel a little shocked and worried if someone says they're going to kill themselves even if you yourself are suicidal. Not everyone, but I think at least the majority.

I kinda agree. The other day i talked to a guy who has a scarred finger after an accident and wanted to die cause of it. I feel rude calling peoples problems "stupid" but seriously a finger just isn't worth it. Obviously it's each persons choice, but death IS permanent so I still believe the choice should be well thought through
