Concerned about trying SN method because of emetophobia

Recently I got interested in the SN method and I've been doing research on this topic. SN related threads/posts always recommend using antiemetics to avoid throwing up the drink. Vomiting is inevitable; it might even happen if you take antiemetics. Learning about this is a like a no-go to try SN. I never actually consirdered overdose or intoxication methods as they include vomiting and stuff. I'm really scared of vomiting, scared of it as if it's the end of world. Whenever I feel nauseous, I have a panic attack. SN method attracts me with its guaranteed death and less agony in terms of symptoms. Is there something that will remove nausea 100% sure? Are antiemetics actually reliable?

This is the first time I hear of emetophobia. Sorry if this question is blunt/uncomfortable, but did you ever vomit? The answer doesn't change anything, but I'm curious.

Antiemetics are basically there to help you keep SN in your stomach long enough for it to act.

Anecdotal evidence supports that most people (but not all) will vomit regardless of AE usage. It's just whether or not you will be conscious when it happens.

Some have theorized that taking a large dose of benzodiazepines a short while before taking the SN would allow you to pass out very quickly and not be conscious for any vomiting, but that adds complexity and carries its own risks.

I am the same way. No matter how many times I've done it there is always this intense fear and panic before it happens, I legit cry sometimes! always fighting to keep it in and avoid it for as long as possible. Part of why I avoided the sn method for so long, the inevitable vomiting. But what I hate even more is hanging, the only other avaliable option I have. The more you research sn the more it somehow draws you in i guess. There is this sense of relief I feel after vomiting, after all that panic and fighting, I'm hoping to find that relief ×100, once and for all.

Vomiting is your body's defense mechanism to a poison being introduced into it orally. I do not believe there is anything you could take, including increased quantities of anti-emetics, that would 100% quell nausea and vomiting after taking SN.

Yep, I've vomited several times in my life When I was a kid, I was really sensitive to summer heat. Every mid-July, I'd basically overheat? (not sure if that's even a word in English, lol) and it would make me vomit. It usually lasted a whole day, sometimes even two. I honestly got so used to it, it felt like some weird summer tradition where I'd just get nauseous from the heat. So I'd mentally prepare for it lmao. My heart races when I feel like I'm about to vomit. I usually stay in the bathroom the whole time because, idk? I guess it helps calm me down a bit. I get serious panic attacks. I'd even literally start praying to God even though I'm an atheist ahahahah. But as I got older, the heat-related nausea started going away. Every year it got a bit less intense, and now I don't get it at all. Actually, I haven't vomited in a long time. Because of my emetophobia, I avoid anything that might trigger it - like overeating or greasy food. I'm careful about what I eat, how much I eat, and I always check if the food's fresh. This spring though... my whole family got hit with some kind of flu that felt like food poisoning. And holy shit, I was NOT ready for that

Wait, wouldn't that be even dangerous? I don't think losing consciousness automatically stops you from vomiting. What if you're unconscious and end up choking on your own vomit? Although, why am I thinking about this if my goal is to die. If I choke while unconscious then I wont feel it. Sounds nice

I'm glad I'm not alone in facing this problem! Sometimes emetophobia feels like a joke :') I guess I just have to be brave one last time to finally reach what I've wanted for so long...

You'll probably vomit even with antiemetics. I've seen it happen. The nausea I think will be pretty overwhelming. It won't matter though, you'll be out really quickly.

Being unconscious doesn't stop you from vomiting. It's just so you don't have to be awake to experience it. The general advice is to lie propped up on your side (so you can't roll over), or sitting up, so you don't choke on your own vomit.

I don't know if surviving both SN and choking on your vomit would cause complications.

Not sure about surviving SN, but surviving the latter would probably cause some kind of obstructive lung disease or something

Are most people taking large doses of benzos? What's considered large dose?

Tbh if you're that scared of vomiting, you take Meto and you're very happy to CTB and can keep your SI low (definitely use Benzos to do that) your mental brain may likely overtake the physical and you'd be strong enough to know not to vomit

Meto not only helps with nausea but just as important it helps in moving the sn from the stomach to the small intestine.
