Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hi all,

It seems that I see most people here using SN and hanging.
Does anyone have luck (I know if you are lucky you wouldn't be alive to respond) with carotid compression with or without the tourniquet?

I have things set up for tonight but I'm afraid I'm being unrealistic and it won't work.

From my point of view, I think the tourniquet method (or night-night as they call it here) is a little more complicated. It will depend on how tightly you tie the ligature used to compress the carotid arteries.

In the hanging method you will be using your own weight while you are suspended to close and tighten the noose knot and compress the carotid arteries.

But it will be up to you to research and see which one seems most appropriate and easy to you.
