Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I was wondering what some possible complications were to carbon monoxide to watch out for.

carbon monoxide triggers the body's defenses, you will have convulsions and will try to tear or take off the mask you are wearing.
If you want to use gas, the best options are nitrogen, argon and helium.
ctb in a few seconds and it is safe for whoever finds the body.

Not really, the body cannot detect CO which is why its so peaceful and deadly. Even small amounts are fatal given time.

One issue though is that it can easily kill other people.

You definitely can't do it in places that other people are at risk.

Carbon Dioxide triggers all that. Carbon Monoxide is completely peaceful at sufficient levels. People that survive accidental carbon monoxide poisoning tend to get confused, weak, dizzy, and forgetful and sometimes lose consciousness (although at that point, most don't survive.)
People accidentally CTB all the time from CO poisoning. Lots also die from poorly planned CTB attempts as it will diffuse through walls and such in typical construction. It is vital to make sure to be well away from others. There is a reason CO detectors are mandated nearly everywhere that is developed if there are gas appliances. It is odorless and tasteless and goes unnoticed by the victim most of the time. It claims many in their sleep as a result of a faulty gas heater producing fairly low concentrations of it compared to intentional generation such as to CTB.
Sufficiently high concentrations would render someone unconscious very quickly with death almost certain without immediate medical intervention.
