If I go out in the cold in a coast and take benzodiazepines to sleep what are my chances of survival in a remote location

I was thinking that we are getting down to 3 degrees now so I was hoping to get about 6 hours alone with 5 or 6 lorazepam so if I add in alcohol it may work

May do. You need to fall into a deep sleep.

In a remote location your survival chances are quite low if you don't seek help. I have been thinking of doing this in the winter. The method will have more success if you use alcohol in combination with the lorazepam. I personally don't think you'll be able to stay asleep as you get really cold, but i'm not sure.

Alcohol will amplify the effects of the lorazepam, but will also make you feel warmer than you are.
From wikipedia:
"Alcohol consumption increases the risk of hypothermia in two ways: vasodilation and temperature controlling systems in the brain.[29][32][33] Vasodilation increases blood flow to the skin, resulting in heat being lost to the environment.[32] This produces the effect of an individual feeling warm, when they are actually losing heat.[33] Alcohol also affects the temperature-regulating system in the brain, decreasing the body's ability to shiver and use energy that would normally aid the body in generating heat.[32] The overall effects of alcohol lead to a decrease in body temperature and a decreased ability to generate body heat in response to cold environments.[33] Alcohol is a common risk factor for death due to hypothermia.[32] Between 33% and 73% of hypothermia cases are complicated by alcohol ."

If you drink enough and take enough benzos you can. My best friend died this way. Cause of death was hypothermia speeded up by the use of drugs and alcohol.

Well I was hoping a coastal remote location would help me and if I mix in alcohol then it looks like it will work

Interesting. I don't have too much time remaining to do something like that but I'm desperate so I'm gonna consider the posibilities because it might be the best way to go and not looking excesively like a suicide (if I act the weeks before as I had lots of plans for the future and all that and pretend to be happy, this might be the way)

Friend of a friend got crazy drunk and passed out in 40-50F degree weather and died of hypothermia. Possible, yes.

Chance, yes. I never got around to doing the calculations of time until the onset of hypotermia versus amount of knock out substance to create a sufficient period of unconsciousness. There are many, many factors to consider and many, many variables.
