Co2 asphyxiation through burning of ice sounds like a very effective method and can be easily nd cheaply done especially in a tight enclosed space, i was wondering though why the hell isn't it a popular method or much more oftenly used?!

?????????? I'm fucking black out drunk and this sounds. like a bot or some shit.
Ice -> h2o no burn
C -> Co then passed through ice is also dumb because the ambient air will cool it to a breathable temperature.

Do you mean like dry ice in a confined space?

Dry ice that's exactly what I meant sorry for the lack of clarification 😅😂

Lol When dry ice is heated up it doesn't turn into a liquid but into a gas which is Co2 nd by emitting that in a closed unventilated place it can cause the displacement of oxygen resulting in an effectively peaceful death (kinda like inert gas).

It will cause death but its not considered peaceful at all as inert gas is. It causes pain and a panic response. For this reason people cant CTB with a bag on the head because the accumulation of CO2 in the bag causes a very unpleasant feeling and a panic response causing people to tear of the bag.
However it is lethal and in high concentrations will cause loss of consciousness after suffering and then death.

You're absolutely right about the accumulation of co2 causing suffocation and a feeling of panic but i thought maybe that could be easily circumvented by putting yourself to sleep with benzos or something else but still i realize I was wrong it's definitely not as perfect or peaceful as inert gas.

I think I've heard of people accidentally dying like that, but my understanding of CO2 (like others have said) is that the brain is unhappy about it and realizes it's suffocating. CO (carbon monoxide) was better I thought, but I read some things recently saying that causes a panic reaction too. And of course doesn't come as dry ice and seems much more difficult to get.

CO can cause unpleasant symptoms if inhaled in low concentrations. In high concentrations it is as lethal and peaceful as inert gas, causing loss of consciousness immediately, but unlike inert gas it is a poison and binds to the blood cells causing prolonged suffering in case of a failed attempt.
