I live in England. I have suffered with my mental health for decades. Been through many treatments and medications. I've tried and tried to get better but nothing has helped. I came to the decision years ago, one that I am very happy with. I don't want to live anymore. I tried to commit suicide a few times but the act of killing yourself is brutal and painful. Each time I tried I cried out for help and was saved.
I have survived significant childhood abuse resulting in being a homeless teenager. Years later I met my ex partner who abused me even worse. I spent the last 3 years running. Had to change my identity and give up my home.
I am safe now. I live in a domestic violence refuge. 4th one now and the staff/other residents are great. But despite the help I'm tired. I really want to go peacefully. I have been researching assisted suicide for a while but haven't figured out a country that will accept mental health from a foreign applicant.
If anyone has any advice on countries I could look into I would appreciate it.
