Happy Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas to the lucky ones. Otherwise Good luck to everyone, especially to people who don't have a New Year's Eve, don't celebrate Christmas, who are alone, don't have loving families, don't have a family (death, orphan,...) . Good luck also to people who are going CTB or are in recovery. I think of you all, my life is difficult too.

At least to me there could never be anything happy about any of this, I've always seen it as being such a terrible thing having to exist and I've never wished to be here at all. But Christmas is just another day for me, there is nothing worth celebrating in such a cruel world filled with endless suffering.

Thank you- that's so kind of you. I agree- it can be a very difficult time of year for people. Even the 'normies' out there!

It's not a season I enjoy- have to admit. Have rather unpleasant childhood memories of it (although I've had some magical times also- sad how the bad too often overshadows the good isn't it?) Plus, work used to be the most stressful this time of year. So, mainly unpleasant associations really. Tend to be alone by choice- although it just feels like another day to be honest- not terribly religious.

I do think of all the people out there struggling with it also. Either on their own- like you say. Or- debatably worse- being compelled to spend the time with difficult family members. I hope you all survive as best you can. 🤗

Thanks for the wishes, tbh life is not a period of the year I enjoy in particular. It just reminds me how alone I am, i tried in the last year to send wishes to other people and friends but I never received one back. Anyway, it hardly matters, I am getting more and more tired of this sick job and of the status of life. Just tired of having to endure this average experience. Lately I tried to get some help from doctor but it seems I am unable to explain to them how fucked up my situation is. I keep swinging from depression and maniac mode making more and more fucked up decisions... anyway yeah marry xmas anyway. Looking forward to an even sadder 2023...

Wishing you the same, i think Christmas is mainly for the kids. It's stil a difficult time of year for anyone who is isolated, or unwell and on their own though. Take care my friend.

Yeah, good luck to the people who can still enjoy Christmas. Being a catholic, I will honour the day for Jesus. Other than that, I hope it is my last one. I pray to him that it will be. Amen.

You don't have to answer this, obviously, but was there ever a time in your life, maybe in your childhood, where you remember good things, like Christmas with family, birthdays, that kind of thing?

I cannot remember ever really wishing to exist at all, I have no memories of being content in this world, I just know that even when I was very young I still wished to die, but apart from that it's hard to remember specific events from when I was a young child. I have always preferred to be alone than be around others though, so the idea of celebrating something with others has never been an appealing thing to me, I've always found it tiring being around other people.

Me too. I'm born poor and disabled from bad parents and rejected, bullied in school.
