Charcol burning. Quantity of charcol and how to burn properly

Could someone give me a detailed e xplaination of the charcol burning met od. Im ready to ctb and need to get this right. What is is best to put the cherol in? How much? Do I burn it the small space I plan tp ctb from co, or outside. Details would be much appreciated! Please, I really need some expert se here!

I think the amount that is reported to be used is .135 kg/m^3 MINIMUM. I wouldn't hesitate to triple that amount, maybe even quadruple it.
