What about full hanging; does it hurt more? I'm thinking of the door-dumbbell method.
Never tried full suspension and I have not kept up on any attempts of it here.

I have "attempted" full hanging, that is, I've put the rope around my neck and tried to step down.

I admit to a lack of resolve. I either knew it was going to be tiptoe partial (with very mild neck trauma, hurts to swallow) or I grabbed the rope and swung (ripping up my thumbs in the process).

I can tell you the big squeeze is painful. Hanging a whole bodyweight from that soft stuff in the neck causes a lot of damage.

I'm fantasizing again about cutting my throat with a little razor because that's the method I have at hand. I know it's not recommended but I see that carotid pulsing and think maybe, just maybe.

Well, I've already bought the scalpel and am utterly confused. I've read fairly well about the anatomy, and it seems like a flimsy razor is NOT going to work as expected. Hence why I bought the scalpel. Well anyways, I'm gonna die either from hemoragic shock or ischemia.

I'm sure a scalpel would be better, that's what they're made for. They're easy to get on Amazon, I should have some but I never ordered.

I was confused not about razor vs scalpel but scalpel vs rope. Investigations tell me that full hanging blacks you out in 10-15s. I'll probably use the door-dumbell method if I decide to go with it.

That aside, do you SH enough to not be bothered by the pain? Cutting your carotid still involves slicing through skin, maybe a very thin layer of fat, fascia, the carotid sheath and finally the artery, out of which only the fat lacks nerve endings. SI could be induced by intense pain.

I do not SH. I have no chance of slashing my carotid. I just ideate about suicide because it gets me high. Hanging is a little more realistic but I back out every time I try.
