How do you do this? Figure out how to replicate the effect with whatever material you are intending to use in ligature.
You should try to lie down on your bed and bend your head back as much as you can to expose as much as possible of the throat and neck. Then You should try to feel around your adams apple, i just use one hand, what i do is i put my thumb on one side of the adams apple and my index and middle finger(or all rest of the fingers sometimes) on the other side of the AA. Then you start to feel around your aa. Move your fingers up, down and to the side. You should give this time. What tou are looking for is the strongest pulse you can find. If you find a strong pulse you should remember where it is and continue to feel around if you can find an even stronger pulse. When you have given this time and felt on all the areas of your throat/neck area you go to the strongest pulse you found. Make sure you find the pulse on both sides of the adams apple and neck. You know if it is a strong pulse on one side there is the same pulse on the other side. Now take your thumb and rest of the fingers and press on the pulse on both sides. You don't have to press with full force but if you want you can press fairly hard. If you did it correctly you shoud start to feel a weird sometimes warm feeling in your head, your body start to tingle and you automatically start to breath extremely heavy. This is what i do and it works everytime. Hope this helps.

I laid down with my head tilted back and held my breath at the same time and my vision started going dark after a couple seconds but my arm went tingly which made me let go
