Would this method work. I was looking at generators for this and theyre all different prices and have different numbers. I don't know what the numbers mean or if it matters. I don't know the success rate for this method. I would like to use SN but i have no idea where to find it so this seems like the only viable otber option. Anyone have any knowledge about it?

Just get a charcoal grill and a bag of charcoal briquettes. You don't need to fiddle with a generator. It's way more expensive. It will be cheaper to rent a car for a day and get a couple portable charcoal grills and a bag of briquettes than any generator that's going to be worth anything. But i guess if you have a lot of money at your disposal you could get a generator, but I don't see a lot of threads on here even testing that method, although in theory it could work. I guess it just depends how much time you have to work something out for yourself and how much experimentation you want to do.

Generators can work. But, you'll be subject to having to breathe in all the noxious fumes along with the CO it produces. And with those noxious fumes comes a lot of the uncomfortable symptoms that wil bring discomfort and pain - nausea, headache, etc.

X2 on the charcoal. Try reading about it and see if you don't think it's a better way for CO ctb.

So with the charcoal grill it's just the same thing just have them running in the car with the lid covered til I ctb? I looked them up on Amazon and they are way cheaper than generators. So it would be easier for me to use these than a generator.

You want to burn the charcoal until it stops smoking outside. Move the non-smoking coals into the vehicle, either in the portable grills or move the coals into metal buckets placed on bricks so they don't melt anything and cause unnecessary fumes. 15 lb will be more than enough for a regular size car, a great big vehicle like a cargo van or something like that you'd probably want to use a bit more. Tape the air vents and obviously don't have any windows down. There's a thread about it somewhere on this forum. I wouldn't get too hung up about the particulars, 15 lb will be more than enough for most vehicles although there is I think some kind of mathematical equation for determining how many pounds you need per metric cube of space or something like that, I don't think it's really worth getting that technical, but you'll want to look at that CO method thread yourself if you have questions along those lines. Thank you! I feel so relieved because now I finally have a viable way out. No other method seemed like it could work for me but I think this is the one.
