Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Does anyone else get this feeling when they're upset where it feels like you're extremely sad, but it also kind of makes you feel sick and nauseous physically at the same time? The feeling is so ambiguous that I genuinely cannot tell whether or not it is an emotion, a physical sensation, or a combination of both happening at the same time. I feel genuinely sick and sometimes start gagging but there seems to be no consistent physical cause and it has been going on for at least weeks (I dont have a good sense of time) almost every other day now, and it usually happens when I'm at my lowest emotional point but not always. Is this normal, and is there a way to get rid of it besides the basic shit like therapy and managing emotions or whatever (if it is a more physical cause; if it is emotional then there isnt much I haven't tried to get rid of it and get better). Also, I know I've heard of people feeling sick and nauseous when they are anxious, but I do not feel anxious when this is happening, and I am not prone to panic or anxiety attacks.

Could the feeling be like a pressure? Like sometimes when i feel sick during moment's of distress from my own issues i feel this sensation like a sort of heaviness could it be your body finally reacting to negative stimuli maybe it's a physical reaction to your mental state. I do wonder how long does it last for you usually?

That would definitely make sense, thats one of the main possibilities I was considering but I wanted to check with others to see if that was common or even possible. I'm not fully familiar with how the body can physically react to a mental state, although ive heard of it happening vaguely. I always sh when I feel that terrible and I can't take it anymore because it helps to relieve some negative emotions, so I have never fully just let the feeling run its course and measure its duration without cutting it short (pun intended lol). Longest ive let it go for was probably like an hour, maybe an hour and a half before I decided to sh to make it go away? What is it like for you?

Yours is very similar to mine, i have to rid it using deep Sh or it won't go away the feeling lingers like some sort of itch, it could be because of not processing emotional normally but it's helped me for year's the only difference is i don't have therapy nor medications making the feeling daily no matter what i do. Maybe one day we won't have to use such awful method for self soothing.
