My bunny is sick and I don't know if he will get through this. I know that to some people it won't be something I should take seriously, and you may think I'm overreacting, he's not even a dog or a cat (a more "real" mascot) but I'm a lonely person, no partner or deep bounds with anyone. He's my friend, I can't even think about losing him.
Pets are family. I'm sorry to hear you are both struggling. One day he will go, but try and remember your sadness is testament to your bond. All you can really do is give him a good life, and from your post I think you are the caring sort. I hope he gets well soon <3
