If a flower does not have eyes, is it possible for someone to behold it in awe?
two distinct things here ♥ ~
- Your own ability to experience (& feel) love
- someone else's experience of loving you
Have you ever seen someone, and wanted to talk to them? If you have, that is one form of love ♥.
Have you ever been glad you met someone, and wished to see them again? If you have, that is another form of love ♥.
It is possible to feel love even outside of "tightknit" bonds :). In fact, love itself is what often first
inspires such bonding in the first place! ^^
But there can be such cases where it's difficult for two people to maintain a secure bond with each other, even if they both love each other.
Here is one such "operational definition" for love: A force that brings someone towards something, especially another person. When two people love each other, they both wish to move towards one another, or to spend time with one another.
I think what you are feeling is not a curse, but the pain that is loneliness ♥.
We can struggle to experience stable connections in our lives for a great variety of reasons

. Not all of them have to do with ourselves. A person can have friends who love them, however even in such cases, drastic changes in some of the lives of those friends may disrupt those bonds with newly introduced distance, that comes from external factors.
You deserve embrace and affirmation, comfort, even in episodes, too. Even if it were to pass in just 1 hour I believe that it is still right for you to be heard out about what you feel. I'm really sorry to hear you're having a bad episode right now, and I truly hope that you feel even a touch better in any time to come, mastuzaka

.
Love is often small too ♥. Like the emotional equivalent of little glimmers on reflective things. Or just being curious about the way someone does things.
I think a fair definition of love is "any appreciation felt for a human being". Let's say you're having a conversation with someone, and they make a joke, that happens to be
really funny, and you laugh heartily :). You may feel some kind of positive emotion towards this person. You may feel an increased wish to talk with them or spend time with them when you can. A lot of people just describe this as "liking" a person but honestly this is a key part of love too, having that simple kind of "being pulled towards someone",
even when it's not super grand.
Attraction comes from a Latin word that implies "to be pulled towards". That's something I think of when trying to define love.
Ultimately, in your own life and your own emotions, you have power over how you define love. And that… can be
different from what
other people around you define as love.
Ironically, the struggle to understand what "love" exactly is, is something that is experienced from those bathing in love to those who feel distanced from it

. It is possible to understand what love is, even if you do not have a ton of it in your life

. We are constantly exploring and wondering in this regard; and this also creates new perspective and idea on how love can express too :).
first; i am really so sorry to hear that

. i know that really hurt you

. and that in those times you felt like you had nobody who was safe, nobody you feel that you could
trust to
not hurt you.
And this desire for safety, to not be hurt, be it emotionally, socially, or physically—I believe that has a real role in love too.
Love is also a desire to feel connected to someone. You can love someone who you feel far away from. That desire to be closer to them—even if that person is far away—that is a form of love, too.
Ultimately, I think this word "love" is used to describe a lot of different human social phenomena. We
love a book, we
love to experience this, we
love this person—one can see how it is used in many different ways. Is this the same feeling for different things, or different ways of feeling? The curiosity could remain—and dare I say—sustain, haha~ x3
"Unconditional love". This term is a bit tricky. Please indulge me in a theoretical example. Let us say someone loves the way your hands and body move when you talk. And let us say you also happen to enjoy indulging in talk quite commonly. This person, if they love that expression-relating habit of yours, will also naturally feel love for you whenever they can see you talking. Is that "unconditional love"?
I don't know what "unconditional love" is. But I
do know that so much of our nature—even what we choose to do!—can turn into habits, natural ways that we act and live. And yes our own free will choices can influence these "natural habits" too; especially what we lean into in our hours too; what we love to do, and experience—these can become facets of what we express to others too. Let us say you engage in some hobby or read some author a lot, and you find someone else who loves that same hobby and that same author too. Even if you have not read that author in a long time, or have not dealt with that hobby in a good while, you still both have a shared love of that thing. That can be one "shared source"—or "shared channel"—of love, as well.
Or let us say that there is such a circumstance where two people end up serving some kind of function for each other; for example, classmates in a difficult class who are pressured to study with one another. And let us say that these two people like studying with each other; and feel that both of them play their role just fine. And so these two people spend time with one another. And naturally that can easily reveal deeper parts of who they are and what goes on in their lives. And the more they learn about each other, the more they see; and the more possibility for love there is. How so? The more you explore a scene, the higher the chance that you are captured harmoniously by some thing within in; and the further you wander from thereon, the higher the chance is that you are further captured more :), and maybe even drawn in deeper, too ^^.
We don't actually need "unconditional" love; just loving something that is stable enough in our life or identity such that any love attached to that facet feels secure enough for us to sleep well at night, is more than enough, I feel :). Or having that love connected to a role in our life or situation that we feel is sufficiently secure, too.
And love can spring forth from one cause, yet end up changing and actually being sustained by another—or by
multiple other sources, too. Someone can love someone for reason A, get to know them deeper, find
more reasons (reasons B and C) and end up loving them for, say, reason C instead. And maybe they keep exploring and shifting from reason to reason, with the love for that person remaining all along—just changing, folding through different forms :). Like a kaleidoscope.
What do you feel for other people, matsuzuka? ♥ Your feelings deserve to be described in their own terms

. There are many different definitions of love :). How would you describe the way you feel towards others, others who you like to spend time with or would be happy to spend time with given the opportunity? ^^
