Regarding the understanding between different social classes, I think I'm somewhere in the middle. I'm able to "downwardly" relate, mainly because of the environment I live in—most of the people around me are within that range. But when it comes to "upward" compatibility, I currently find it almost impossible. The internet gives me a glimpse into that world, but even then, I'm not sure whether what I see is already shaped and filtered by class structures, language structures, and narrative frameworks.
I believe that everyone is constrained by their form of existence, and differences in living environments can very likely lead to cognitive limitations. What I want to know is—is it possible to break through these limitations? After all, most people are born with no significant difference, but innate factors and later environments create larger and larger gaps. Is this difference truly beyond understanding?
Is everyone trapped in a certain information bubble? Is it possible for someone to understand different social classes at once? Can those who rise from the lower classes to the upper classes do so? When we talk about the "top" tier, are we referring to those who control the machinery of the state? And when we define the "bottom" tier, should we look at it from a global perspective or from a national one? In the face of such a Leviathan, how can I protect myself?
