I've thought about using generator in vehicle with no co shutoff. There's ways on YouTube to bypass the safety feature. Sounds like it could be a peaceful exit. So jealous when I hear of an accidental death due to CO. This is my backup method, if unable to get SN

You can look for it on amazon or similar stores, but you'd need one for 10000ppm. In any case a CO meter is very helpful to know the actual concentrations.

If I was going to do it in the car, I would use a BBQ instead.

People have died that way in the past. There seems to be two variants. (1) Attach a hose to the exhaust pipe and run in into the interior of the car (while keeping the car as sealed up as you can). (1) Put the car in a small, reasonably well sealed garage, and simply run the engine.
